Make Your Favorite Fast Food At Home

By

Fast Food At Home

Why do we crave fast food? Other than the obvious, the food tastes good. Some food is even designed to make to make you crave more. Are you aware that the best fries in the world have added sugar on them? Yes, it's true. Why do French fries have sugar on them? It's ridiculous I know, but they're selling like the best French fries in the world should sell.

Have you ever been to a restaurant and been so bold as to ask the chef how they made a dish that you found particularly delicious? My mother has and once the chef actually told her. Having a chef write down the ingredients to one of their recipes is unheard of.

There is however a place where you can find great recipes of the fast food you love. People have spent many hours trying to copy the recipes that they love. There is a good recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken, however you can't cook the chicken the same way KFC does, so it won't be exact. If you like the cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster you can make that as well. Other restaurants that have had recipes copied are T.G.I. Friday's, Bennigans, Olive Garden, and Cracker Barrel.

For full recipe visit CopyKat.com and you can make America's favorite chicken at home too.

You can also tweak these recipes to make them healthier than found in the restaurants. One of the best things about making these recipes for your family is the ability to control the amount of sodium you add. Copykat is just one of many websites and books available for you to use to make tasty well known recipes in your own kitchen.

MSG is monosodium glutamate and there are people that are allergic to it. It is sold in stores as Accent and it really does bring out the flavor in foods. When I made this recipe, I did not include the MSG. I'm not allergic to it, but I can tell when foods have MSG in them because I get a headache shortly after eating food with MSG in it. It tastes fine without the MSG.
